Comfrey, Chili, and Collards: Join our CSA, City Farmers, and Seed Exchange!
Dear Friend,
This February, we want to wish you a happy Lunar New Year and Black Futures Month.
Spring will soon be on the way and we are getting things ready for the season. Catch up on our 2021 plans and meet our new farm staff at a virtual happy hour on Wednesday, March 3 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
On Saturday, March 20, we will be hosting a Farm Market featuring a Seed Exchange and Youth Spring Planting Kits.
Although we will still be limiting numbers and following Covid safety policies, we are excited to welcome a small number of volunteers again this year. If you are interested, the application for our City Farmer program is now open! Also, be sure to check out our CSA sign up- we have added a sliding scale fee option so check out the new options and see if it may be the right fit!
If you are looking for a gift for Valentine's/ Palentine's Day, be sure to check out our Teespring store, with super cute farm merchandise including t-shirts of all sizes, mugs, and farm-inspired masks or take a look at our farm sponsorship options.
Shop at our Pop-up Farm Market on Sat. March 20
We will be hosting a Pop-up Farm Market on Saturday, March 20, 1-4 pm outside Common Good City Farm, facing the Park at LeDroit, 300 V St NW.
Our Pop-up Farm Market will also feature a Seed Exchange and Youth Spring Planting Kits!
Our Farm Market will continue to source from Franklin Sustainable Farms and Dreaming Out Loud and offer a pay-what-you-can model. If you are interested in pre-ordering for the farm market, RSVP and we will send you an email once pre-orders open.
Do you have more collard seeds than you need, but not enough cherry tomato seeds?
