Field Trips on the Farm!

Are you a teacher or know someone connected to a DC school? Starting to get excited about spring? Now is the time to sign up to bring your class to the farm!

Common Good offers 90 minute field trips on Thursday mornings from April to early November. Our field trips introduce students of all ages to urban farming. The material covered meets DCPS standards and can be tailored to specific class requests. Topics can include: plant needs, composting and worms, harvesting, insects, nutrition and food justice. Show your students how food grows and introduce them to the science of urban agriculture.
