Join the 2017 Common Good CSA!
Applications are now open for the 2017 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) season and will be accepted through March 10th. (Deadline extended through March for income qualifying applications) We've been busy making plans and preparations for our 2017 season and spring will be here soon. We are excited to offer another great year of produce for our CSA members, and we hope one of them could be you! You can’t get more fresh and local than the Common Good City Farm CSA. Our 2017 CSA season will be 20 weeks long with an option to add 4 more weeks in the spring (spaces for the add-on are limited). Shares will be available for pickup from the farm each week on a designated day. Each CSA share will contain approximately 8 - 10 pounds of seasonal produce. Typical shares contain a variety of 5 - 9 different types of vegetables/herbs/fruits and have an average value of $30. For more details check out our CSA program page. We offer a full price and income qualifying CSA share (full price deadline has passed and the full price shares are filled). The income qualifying share is for participants who make less than the DC Living Wage (see application for more details). If you're interested in signing up for an income-qualifying share, please fill out our 2017 CSA Income Qualifying Membership Application form. Common Good will also offer our Market CSA option again this year. In this program, you still get to support the farm and get delicious produce, but with less commitment. Our traditional CSA is the best value, but the Market CSA is a great option for those who are interested in shopping our Farm Stand and selecting their own produce throughout the season. Registration for the Market CSA will open in mid-March, if you'd like to be notified when that is available, send an email to info@commongoodcityfarm.org
