2015~How We've Grown 2015 was an exciting year for Common Good City Farm full of enhancements to our urban farm site, programmatic development, and organizational capacity building. As we continue to evolve as an organization, our ability to thoughtfully meet the needs of our community and fulfill our mission becomes even greater.In 2015, we proudly: Engaged over 800 young people in sustainable agriculture, nutrition, workplace readiness, and food access education through our Youth Employment Program, LEAF After-School, and Farm Field Trips Held 20 adult education workshops for over 430 attendees on topics of gardening, cooking, nutrition, and herbalism through our Seed to Table Workshops program Worked with 550 volunteers who dedicated 2700 volunteer hours Hosted nearly 400 community members on the farm during community events Installed a new high tunnel for year-round growing, composting system and produce washing station on our farm These achievements are in no small part a product of our diverse, generous, and enthusiastic community of supporters. THANK YOU to all of the foundations, agencies, businesses, schools, individuals donors, volunteers, and program participants for partnering with Common Good City Farm in 2015.
