And check out our Farm Manager Brian's workshop on Tools and Machinery for Urban Farms, Gardens, & Homesteads Session D ( 3 - 4 pm) Rm 304 This workshop will focus on the transformative power of appropriately-scaled tools for the urban agricultural landscape. We will look primarily at the walk-behind tractor and its many implements, in a hands-on way to introduce the machine to participants. Using his first-hand experience, alongside that of other successful practitioners of micro-farming, Brian will demonstrate how this tool and many other newly re-designed hand tools transform the scope of the possible in an urban space.
