Kids Cooking Kits & Meal Kits
Our LEAF program will be offering free kids cooking kits and meal kits for families with kids for pick up at the Farm Market this Wed, Nov 18 from 2-5 pm.
The cooking kit includes an apron and fabric markers to decorate it, kid safe cooking tools (knife, cutting board, spatula, measuring spoons), and a recipe journal along with herbs from the farm. This is the same kit we offered at the beginning of the summer, so if you already got one from us, help spread the word to friends who would find it useful, or if you missed it this summer, here is your chance. Sign up here (there is also an option to receive a kit by mail).
The meal kit will include Asian pears, red onions, sweet potatoes, & carrots along with a recipe to make a Roasted Sweet Potato and Pear Salad. If you already have a cooking kit, you can still stop by to pick up a meal kit. No sign up necessary, first come, first serve.
Join our LEAF program for Wednesday Zoom class at 3:30!
Email Emily at emily@commongoodcityfarm.org with any questions.
