Open Hours on the Farm

Our Open Hours will begin this week! Come visit us any Tuesday or Thursday from now through October. Stop by between the hours of 3 - 6pm and engage with one of our staff members on duty. Feel free to hang out and ask about what's growing, learn about our youth programs, find out how you can get more involved or just enjoy the space!  Visitors are also welcome anytime the gates are open, but open hours are a great time to check things out!

Join us for A Night on the Farm!

A Night on the Farm is our signature fundraiser event of the year to support our educational programming for youth and adults as well as our pay-what-you-can Farm Market. We are offering tickets on a sliding scale basis so that you can select the level that best works for you to support and allow us to make the event accessible to more people

Highlighting Asian/Pacific Islander Heritage month, we're featuring the local chefs of Kam & 46 + Chinese Street Market. Kam & 46 is a duo owned DMV based Hawaii and Filipino fare food truck, pop-up and catering co. They serve deliciously curated dishes that showcase both Asian and Pacific Islander flavors. Chinese Street Market is on a mission to build a community that supports the preservation of Chinese culture in Chinatown DC. They host pop-ups, hands on workshops, and cater locally. Their chefs design creative, vibrant, and traditional cuisine that satisfy the senses.

Join our 2023 CSA!

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA ) is a system that directly connects farmers and consumers. People buy "shares" of a farm's harvest in advance and then receive a portion of the crops when they are harvested.

Again this year, in order to meet increased demand for fresh produce, produce for this CSA will be sourced from Common Good City Farm as well as additional farms such as Dreaming Out Loud's Food Hub and Franklin Sustainable Farms. The shares will be pre-packed with 7-10 produce items each week from Common Good City Farm and regional farms.

Our Youth and Family Art Party is now  this coming Sunday May 7 at 3 pm (before class that day).  All are welcome, whether you've attended LEAF before or not!
