Join us for a workshop on Thursday, August 25 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm about the connections between food sovereignty, climate change, and the practice of foraging wild plants, along with how to identify and respectfully, with intentionality, gather and harvest wild foods. We will have opportunity to learn from our best teachers, those within the natural world, with the incorporation of traditional Indigenous teachings about how to honor the non-human life existing all around us.

Are you interested in learning more about your culinary history through the foods you grow? Take time to explore the African Diaspora with us as we celebrate some of the current summer vegetables growing in the garden. Garden-to-table educator, Christin Riddick of Afro Beets, will prepare two Caribbean-influenced dishes using fresh garden produce.
