Leaf Youth Program:
An excitement-filled program of hands-on farming, cooking, eating, and learning. Each session, youth participate in the full farm-to-table cycle by caring for our Youth Garden, harvesting veggies, preparing a meal in our outdoor kitchen, and then sitting down to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Youth Employment Program
Common Good City Farm offers a six week long paid summer program for high school age students. Apply to work with us through the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program.
Field Trips to the Farm:
Schools in the DC metro area can visit the farm for a field trip, where students have the chance to learn where their food comes from while engaging in hands-on activities. For details, including scheduling, curriculum and cost, please visit our field trip page.
